Although they are custom-designed, dumbwaiters are usually small in size, as they are specially designed for the vertical movement of smaller loads. They usually have vertical or hinged sliding guillotine doors, as well as fixed or removable trays, which are very useful for the distribution of the products to be transported. They are usually low consumption equipment and their capacity may vary depending on the model selected, between 50 kg and 100 kg.

Their drive system works by means of a single acting hydraulic cylinder with indirect traction thrust, with a nominal pressure of 30 bar or 60 bar depending on the load. They are equipped with a three-phase electric motor and pre-assembled 24 V electric control.
